Hello, I’m Marwa, a registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor specialising in Transactional Analysis. I’ve worked in mental health and wellbeing within charitable counselling services and as a therapist in the NHS. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and find more balance, confidence, and meaning in their relationships and daily lives.
My path into psychotherapy has been shaped not just by study and professional training, but by lived experience of how therapy deepens understanding of self and others and how change can help through stuck-ness. Before moving fully into psychotherapy, I worked as a management consultant with an MSc and BSc — experiences that have given me a unique perspective on both organisational and personal wellbeing.
I hold a CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Skills, a Foundation Certificate in Transactional Analysis, and have completed Advanced Training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
I am a member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and UKATA (United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis), and I work in line with their professional codes of ethics. My approach is grounded in the belief that everyone is OK, everyone can think, and everyone can make new decisions to create change. Core values such as dignity, respect, empowerment, mutuality, and self-determination guide everything I do.
