Our first session — or sometimes a few — will focus on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I offer short- to medium-term work, starting with six sessions, and extending up to twenty-four sessions as needed. Some clients choose to return later when new challenges arise or to deepen previous work.
My style is compassionate and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a conversation — a space to be seen, heard, and supported to make sense of your story and move toward change that feels right for you and build more satisfying ways of living.
While my foundation is in Transactional Analysis, I also draw on CBT techniques to explore thoughts and behaviours and find practical steps forward. Together, we’ll use insights from the concept that we all hold Parent-Adult-Child ego states to deepen understanding of yourself and your relationships — always within a person-centred, supportive way.
